Here you’ll find information for rules and regulations that govern our community as a collective, how it’s affairs are managed, and what each homeowner is allowed, by law, to do on their property.
Bylaws
Click this link to read our Community Bylaws. These are rules and regulations derived from the Declaration of Buildings and Use (DBU) document and, from time to time, approved proposals by community homeowners. Bylaws provide a means for governing the activities and permissions within our community. They also provide a framework for the association’s operation and management. Bylaws specify the qualification, rights, and liabilities of homeowners, and the powers and duties of the association’s Board of Directors.
Declaration of Buildings and Use
Click this link to read the Declaration of Building and Use Restrictions. This document lays out the agreement between various government agencies and the several contractors who built and financed the roads and homes governed by our association. Homeowners who want to do something on or to their property not in agreement with the provisions in this declaration may need to obtain permission from one or all three of the following: Potomac Green Civic Association, the government of Oakland County, the government of West Bloomfield Township.
